A Tribute to Chief Ayo Ore
I find it difficult to put into words the depth of pain I feel at the passing of Daddy, as I always called him. His exit has left an unfillable void, and I owe so much gratitude to him for the profound impact he had on my life and career.
I vividly recall the year 2016, when I was preparing for my IT placement. It was then that my parent called to tell me they had been able to secure a placement for me with your help, Chief Ore. The opportunity, at your son Mr. Lanre Ore's company, filled me with excitement. However, I was uncertain about where I would stay since it was my first time in Lagos. Without hesitation, you opened up your home to me, offering me a place to stay throughout the six-month placement. That gesture marked the beginning of our special relationship, one in which I came to know you as a father figure
Daddy, you were kind, loving, and generous—a man who deeply loved God. You took care of me as if I were your own son, offering guidance and wisdom at every turn. Your encouraging words and motivation shaped my path as a young man and set me on a trajectory I may never have discovered on my own.
I can still remember the day my IT placement ended. As I was preparing to leave, you said to me, “Temi, you have been a good boy during your stay here, and remember, your room will always be waiting for you whenever you want to return.” Those words made me feel truly welcomed, and it was no surprise that after I graduated, I returned to stay with you, a stay that would last five cherished years—from 2017 to 2022. During that time, I experienced the fullness of your love and support.
Even when I decided in 2019 to leave Mr. Lanre’s organization, you accepted my decision with grace and kindness. You made it clear that my place in your home was never tied to my job, and this lifted my spirits. I was continually amazed by your selflessness, your genuine concern for my growth, and the unconditional love you showered on me.
You were deeply invested in my progress, always asking about my career and providing advice. When I decided to transition into cybersecurity, you were one of the first people I confided in. I still remember how overjoyed we both were when I secured a role as a Senior Security Engineer. We celebrated that success together, and your pride in my accomplishments was evident.
When I made the decision to relocate, you supported me once again—both prayerfully and financially—and gave me advice on how to navigate the new chapter of my life. During this time, I also introduced my beloved wife to you. You welcomed her with open arms and made her feel as much a part of the family as I did.
You were there for me through every season, good or challenging. Daddy, I’m saddened that I didn’t get the chance to tell you about my recent graduation with a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity and how I am now continuing my career in cybersecurity with one of the largest retail companies in the United Kingdom. None of this may have been possible if you hadn’t taken a chance on me, offering me not only a place to stay but a foundation of love and support that allowed me to grow into the person I am today.
Your kindness, your generosity, and your unwavering belief in me will forever be a part of who I am. Daddy, you will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will never forget the immense role you played in shaping my life. Thank you for everything.
Rest in peace, Daddy. You are dearly missed.

Chief Timothy Ayorinde Ore was my uncle. Himself and my late father- Mr Emmanuel Abiodun Ogunjobi were so close. He was the Chairman at my wedding about 33years ago. The STEP acronym he gave us really helped my marriage to survive till today. He was gentle, generous and accommodating. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
A Tribute to My Adopted Father
Today, I stand with a heavy heart, reflecting on the life of my adopted father, a man whose 84 years on this earth left an indelible mark on my life and the lives of everyone who knew him. Though words may never fully capture the depth of his kindness, strength, and love, I will try to honor the remarkable person he was.
From the moment he entered my life, my father embraced me not just as an obligation, but with an open heart, choosing to love me as his own. He wasn't just a father in title; he was my guide, my protector, and my greatest source of wisdom. His quiet strength provided me with a foundation I could always rely on, and his gentle, encouraging words lifted me during moments of doubt.
He lived his life with a generosity of spirit that was unmatched. He gave his time freely, not just to me, but to others, always eager to lend a hand, share advice, or simply listen. He had a way of making people feel seen and valued, no matter who they were or where they came from. Whether he was sharing his stories, offering guidance, or teaching life's little lessons, his wisdom came not from books, but from a life well-lived and deeply felt.
My father had a warmth that was contagious. His laughter could light up a room, and his smile had a way of reassuring you, even on your darkest days. To me, he was a beacon of hope, always reminding me that even in tough times, love, patience, and understanding could see you through.
In his final years, even as age wore down his body, his spirit never faltered. He continued to show strength, perseverance, and dignity, qualities he carried throughout his life. And even though we have said our goodbyes, his presence remains with me – in the lessons he taught, the memories we shared, and the love he so freely gave.
To the world, he may have been just one man, but to me, he was the world. Losing him is a grief that I will carry, but I am comforted in knowing that his legacy of love will continue through the lives he touched, mine most of all.
Dad, you showed me what it means to love unconditionally, to live with integrity, and to always strive to be the best version of myself. I am forever grateful for the life we shared, and I will carry your love with me always. Though you are no longer here in body, your spirit, your lessons, and your love will forever guide me.
Thank you for the joy i shared being your driver, cook, adopted last born and gist partner for many years.
Thank you for Komputer Konnections Limited 'KKL" where you taught me how to use the computer and also my first job at the cybercafe.
Rest peacefully, my dear father. Your journey on this earth may have ended, but your memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved you.

TRIBUTE IN HONOR OF LATE ELDER TIMOTHY AYORINDE ORE.
It is with gratitude to God Almighty for a life well spent that we, on behalf of the Senior Citizens Association of Nigeria (SCAN) pay tribute to our late Elder TIMOTHY AYORINDE ORE.
One of the fathers of our great Association that started almost twenty years ago.
Late Elder Timothy Ayo Ore during his life time in our midst was a beacon of sound leadership and integrity, that was why he was much loved because he ran an open policy and carried all members along during his tenure as the Association's National President. He was a man whose life was laced with love, charity, enthusiasm, passion and the well-being of every member of the Association was on his heart.
He was known for his straight forwardness and frankness and would not shy away from expressing his candid view on any matter raised without minding stepping on toes of anyone.
In appreciation of his contribution to the growth of the Association, late Elder Timothy Ayo Ore was conferred with the membership of the Board of Trustees (BOT) during the inauguration of the present executive committee and National Council Members in 2022 but unfortunately the registration of his name with the Corporate Affairs Commission could not be completed before his demise.
During his membership of the Association, he was elected into several National executive offices:
National Financial Secretary (2009), Ketu Branch treasurer (2016-2018), National Deputy President and the National president (2017-2021) before he was later conferred with the membership of the Board of Trustees of the Association. Late Elder Timothy Ayo Ore bequeathed into the Association a functional website platform before he left office as the National president.
He was also instrumental to the establishment of several branches of the Senior Citizens Association of Nigeria.
He donated a conference and office rooms to the association as its secretariat. Till date, Ketu zone holds their meeting within his compound.
Elder Timothy Ayo Ore was a philanthropist and a good listener who ensured that all that comes to him sad, laugh when leaving.
Medically, for elders to keep fit daily, his name has an acronym thus:
0 - observe your body system on daily basis (taking)
R - responsibility for whatever happens to you
E - exercise your body system on daily basis
In this time of sorrow, we extend our deepest sympathy to the children and all members of the ORE family, both home and abroad and indeed to all members of the Senior Citizens Association of Nigeria ( A ku ara fera ku, Olorun a mu Ojo Jina sira). Our dear Elder, papa Timothy Ayo Ore, you have fought a good fight, you have kept the Christian faith like Apostle Paul.
We pray that God Almighty will give him the crown of righteousness and accept his gentle soul.
ADIEU OUR LEADER, OUR FRIEND AND OUR COLLEAGUE.

It is with a heavy heart that I bid farewell to a man who meant so much to me and so many others. Chief Ore was not only the father of the Ore’s but also the father to many . I am forever thankful for the kindness and wisdom he shared with me over the years.
I will never forget the last time I saw him before I relocated—his sincere prayer and heartfelt words are something I will always carry with me. He touched my life in ways that are hard to express, and for that, I am deeply grateful.

May your soul find eternal rest, and may we continue to honor your memory by living with the same generosity and grace that you showed us.

My dear brother Ayo, through all the years, not once did we exchange a cross word. His nature was calm, his heart was generous, and his spirit was always kind. He was someone who never sought the spotlight, but always there when you needed him. His sense of loyalty, his gentle demeanor, and his unwavering support made him the kind of person anyone would be blessed to call family.
There are few relationships in life where you can look back and say, with absolute certainty, that there was never a harsh word or a moment of discord. With him, it was always peace, respect, and care. He brought a sense of harmony wherever he went, and his presence was a constant source of warmth and comfort.

My dear father,
As I write this note, I am filled with so many emotions!
Smiles when I think of the good times we shared. You weren’t a man of many words, yet you were a man of deep love, affection, and dedication. You’ve impacted my life in countless ways, too many to mention.
Is it how you personally took the time to coach me for my common entrance examination? Your discipline was unparalleled. I can count the number of times I was spanked by you, yet one look from you, and I would immediately sit up and get the message!
The worst thing I could hear you say was, "I am disappointed in you." Whenever you said that, my world would crash, and I would weep for days. It felt like a thousand spanks to me. I believe that’s what made you my hero!
I remember your thoughtful gifts, how you would travel and buy the same jewelry designs in fourteen different varieties, each with a different type of luxury stone, for Mum and me. 😘🥰 I wore them for so many years that they became my signature.
You saved my home and carefully guided my husband and me to build a Christian household.
For so many years, my dad did school runs, dropping off and picking up my kids. No wonder they are so fond of Grandpa! I still don’t know how he managed to do it in Lagos. He was a fantastic timekeeper, and he always wondered why I could hardly keep up with time.
Haa! Gate time growing up! Official gate-closing time—better not be found outside or locked out! It was better to sit at home than deal with the protocols if you tried to step out.
I remember our travels. My kids were so sure you weren’t going anywhere yet because you promised all the grandchildren an Ekiti tour in the summer of 2024 after you found out some couldn’t speak Yoruba.
**Our Fights**
We fought and disagreed so many times, too numerous to count! I remember you and Mum driving all the way to scold me like never before after I sent you a letter of disagreement. I knelt in front of Angola Hall, Uni Ife, apologizing, and you left angrily. I hope you calmed down before getting to Lagos! LOL
You won all our fights when I was a child, up until adulthood. And then, things started to change—the fights continued, but I began to win. 🥰 I guess the goal was accomplished: I had grown into a woman.
My dad, my friend. He would call me, share ideas with me, seek my counsel on many things. We disagreed only to agree again. My dad was truly my friend!
Many times he gave up on himself, and I told him I would never give up on him. I’m not giving up—I let you go because it was best for you.
Glory home, my dear dad. A man of many parts, my man of great music! Keep dancing and rejoicing for the glory ahead of you.
Love,
Omolola (Apeke)

My dear father,
As I write this note, I am filled with so many emotions!
Smiles when I think of the good times we shared. You weren’t a man of many words, yet you were a man of deep love, affection, and dedication. You’ve impacted my life in countless ways, too many to mention.

Dear Grandpa,
You always knew how to create a safe space for anyone who entered your life. I watched you live a life of sacrifice, hard work, and love. You weren’t just someone who loved only your family; you loved your friends and everyone around you so deeply.
When I tell stories of my childhood, they wouldn’t be complete without mentioning you. I remember how my brothers and I would always beg our parents, “Mummy, Daddy, please take us to Grandpa’s place!” And by evening, when our parents came to get us, they would find tired, dusty-footed children sleeping soundly, filled with joy, all thanks to the safe and loving environment you created for us.
You always encouraged your grandchildren to excel academically and work hard because you knew it would eventually pay off. I still remember the look of pride and joy on your face when we (your grandchildren) sat with you, sharing our career aspirations and school results. You were so full of pride and happiness that you couldn’t help but cheer and clap.
Grandpa, I miss you so much. I wish you had a little more time to take us on the Ekiti tour you promised, but I find comfort and joy in knowing you’re resting peacefully at the feet of our Savior.
Love you Grandpa!

My dear family, Dr.Odunayo Fagbeyiro and Morolake my sister.Femi and I were saddened by the passing of our beloved brother and In law, brother Ayo.
Olori Ebi of the famous Ore family and by extension the Elegunmi. Clan of Ayede Ekiiti.
Our brother was a gentleman and a gentle giant. His quiet resolve and demeanour endeared him to all who came across this enigma of a man.
We are all mourning his passing and thanking God who gave us a chance to meet and knew him.
Reminiscing now as a young girl in my formative years in Esie, brother was kind and generous to all.
Both Brothers Ayo and late brother Akin Awoniyi were great story tellers and Alo that were very scary. All the stories had a beginning and an ending.
They always taught us useful lessons and how to be Omoluabis.
Brother has left a void in our hearts and soul and we are grateful for his friendship and his love.
May God grant him eternal rest and mayGod comfort his children and the members of the family he left behind.
May his memory and passing be a blessing.
In deepest Sympathy,
The Ayenis of Canada.

A Tribute To Chief Timothy Ayorinde Ore
By:
Rolake & Odunayo Fagbeyiro (Younger Sister & Brother Inlaw)
Brother Ayo, as we fondly call him in our family was the quintessence of the ORE Family.
He was easy going, quite, humble but humourous exuding compassion and love to all the people that came in contact with him.
We never saw brother Ayo angry with anyone but would rather rationalize and excuse his offender for reasons of that person's ignorance of the right things to do. He was passionate about his family and devoted to his friends. Brother Ayo's commitment to his obligation and responsibilities were nonpareil.
We will sorely miss him. We pray that his soul finds a repose at the feet of Christ as seeks the greater light.
Adieu Sir.

It is with heavy heart that I remember daddy(Chief Ore), but also with gratitude for the moments we shared, the laughter, the lessons, and the love he brought into our lives.
He was not just a husband to my sister, but a devoted partner who stood by her through life’s trials and triumphs. Together, they created a love story filled with joy, perseverance, and mutual respect. Their bond was the kind that inspired those around them—their love was a reminder of the power of true companionship, and it’s a love that will endure even beyond this world.
He was a man of integrity, kindness, and accommodating. Those who knew him could always count on his unwavering support, his thoughtful words, and his infectious smile. He had a way of making people feel seen and heard, offering his wisdom when it was needed most, or simply being a shoulder to lean on.
Daddy was also a loving father. His love for family was the cornerstone of his life, and he worked tirelessly to ensure those he cared about were always looked after.
Though his time with us was short, he leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and compassion. His memory will forever be a source of comfort and strength, a reminder to live our lives with the same grace and kindness he embodied.
As I say goodbye, I also choose to celebrate the gift of having known him.
Rest in peace, Daddy Timothy Ayo Ore, knowing that you were loved deeply and will be missed always.

Tribute to Chief Timothy Ayorinde Ore,
On behalf of the family of Mary Towolawi, I write this tribute of Baba Ayo Ore (1940-2024) on this occasion. Looking at the time, it can be termed as a celebration of life relatively.
To some of us, words can not express the depth of our sorrow as he was relevant and still playing active roles as a father .
We have known Baba as a pillar behind Tunde Towolawi , as he was with him several times from Ilorin to lokoja. Your fatherly love will forever remain in our hearts .We take consolation in the book of Revelation chapter 14 verse 13: Which says, "Write this : Happy are those who from now die in the service of the Lord!"
"Yes indeed! answers the spirit, they will enjoy rest from their labours ; because the results of their service go with them"
May his soul rest in perfect peace. Goodnight .

His presence was a source of strength and comfort, a constant reminder of the values of kindness, and resilience especially to the Fiber Team members (KKONTECH).

Talk about humility, a true gentleman, a caring grandad to all. Always smiling, receptive to all. You have been nothing but a blessing to this generation, cheering on and a backbone. We love you but God loves you more
Grandpa, you were a true blessing in my life. I am so grateful for the time we had together, and I will carry your memory with me always. Though you may be gone from this world, you will never be forgotten. Your love, your wisdom, and your laughter will echo in our hearts forever.
One of the things that stood out most about you, Grandpa, was your incredible generosity and your deep care for others. I remember how you would always go out of your way to help those around you. Whether it was a neighbor in need or a friend facing hard times, you were there, offering a helping hand without hesitation.
I especially remember the story of how, even when a tenant was behind on rent, you didn’t turn your back on him. Instead, you gave him money to start a business so that he and his family could live comfortably. That was the kind of person you were—always thinking of others, always finding ways to uplift those who were struggling. Your heart was as big as the world, and your kindness knew no bounds.

Dear Daddy,
I will always be grateful for the lessons you taught me - how to love unconditionally, how to be patient, and how to smile even in the face of anger. Your selflessness and generosity have been an inspiration to me, and I am so thankful for the love and support you showed me as your adopted son.
You were a gift that kept giving, and I will cherish the memories we created together. Although I knew you said you would wait to see my baby, your passing before time has left me with a sense of loss and longing.
I miss your voice calling out my name with excitement, "Chrisssstopheeeeer!!!". It was a sound that brought me joy and made me feel loved.
You will always be in our hearts, and I take comfort in knowing that we will meet again to path no more.
Goodnight, Granddaddy. ❤️💡💡💡❤️
